Day started out really good. I had planned to go back to my old church to spend Fathers's Day with Dad. When I was at the twins' B-Day party he had asked if I would. I told him that I was already planning to, and that seemed to make him happy. The folks still don't like our "seperation and avoid anything else" approach to our marriage.
Anyway. So, it was storming like crazy this morning when it was time to go to church. Being the weenie that I am, I didn't want to drive in it, so I called the Ex and asked if he would come by and pick me up. No big deal, really. He said he would, and then I felt like a dummy when we got there because by then the storm had blown over.
So, we got to church. Sunday school and the whole bit. I make my way through all kinds of hugs and "I miss yous" --AND I do it all with out crying! WHOOT! Go me!

The bad started when we were driving home. He wasn't in the best of moods, so it was a quiet drive. When we got to Gramma's driveway, he reaches into the back seat and gets a bag of things that I had left during my housesitting. I don't know why this bothered me so much. Because I was going to go over later this week and get it anyway....I guess I'm just being moody.

Spent the afternoon with the Aunt & Uncle and Chloe. (I have pics! I will upload them and spam you with them later!)
Took a little nap and....here's where the bad REALLY comes in...was woke up by the phone. Looked at the caller ID and...well....*sigh*
Lisa, my best friend in high school --who I haven't spoken to in YEARS is alling me. About our 15 year class reunion. Oh my gosh, why aren't you going?!

So, we talked for about two hours. Catching up on a few things. ...And yes, by a few, I mean I led her to believe that I'm staying with Gramma for awhile because of her stroke she doesn't like being alone. Which she doesn't. It has nothing to do with my failed marriage. Nope. Not at all.
SO at the end of it all she says,Well, even if you don't make it to the reunion, you and your husband will have to go out to dinner with me and my husband so we can catch up properly.

Well. Crap.

Hey, I'm all for catching up through email. Really.

I even went to far as calling the Ex and asking if he was free Saturday, to go to the reunion and pretend that we were happily married for a few hours.
Yeah. I shoulda known better.

So.
What do I do now?

The Ex came over tonight and brought some of my mail.

Jayne? Does. Not. Like.

LOL!

He hid behind the recliner and resisted every attempt that he made to be friendly.
And Jayne isn't like that with strangers...he's usually really friendly.

*snicker*
