Here's a helpful hint:

When making garb out of $1.00 a yard material...that, say, might *not* be colorsafe...
Wash the dark fabric before sewing it to the flouncy white fabric.

You may go from having a lovely burgundy gown with white poufy sleves...to a lovely burgundy gown with pink poufy sleeves!
