Oh man.

We don't even keep a register anymore. Everything we do is online and clears instantly (I can't remember the last check we wrote), so it hasn't really been necessary. :D

It's actually not as bad as it sounds. I know every transaction made and check almost daily, so even if the site DID go down, even for a short time, I'd know how much was there. ;-)

I was actually really terrible about writing checks in. I'd always forget one or transpose or something no matter how careful I was, so this works out much better.

one thing I've noticed is that the online stuff is on a time delay compared to the actual bank account. maybe give it 24 hours to catch up? My bank gives me on line delays all the time. It is a tad annoying.
