peace, love and penguins

I don't waaaaaaaaaana go to work!

Ok. I mostly don't want to go back to work. I don't want to face the pages and pages of calls, that I will need to do on my own. (THAT'S fun to walk back in on. Emily will be on vacation this week) I don't want to face the fallout for leaving work with two loans unfinished. I knew not to do that. Sick or no, I should have finished those completely.

But, I am kinda ready to get back in the world. AND I think Gramma and I have spent enough together time for awhile. Especially with the both of us being sick and grumpy. YIKES!

And I've missed out on a load of work!drama. Can't wait to find out how all that's going....

I think I'll bake Charles a cake...sort of a "thank you for giving me extra time off without griping please don't start now" gift. Carrot cake (which is his favorite. With cream cheese icing. Um-Yummy.

So that's my plan for tonight. Cake and watching my series 2 disc 5 of Doctor who....I'm up to Doomsday. *sigh*

but before I go there here is my "oh my gosh I love this you have to see it" fanvid of the moment:

and that's why I love Doctor/Rose.

you at work=Less time I can talk to you....I don't want ya to go back to work either! I had a feeling that the you and gramma time together was starting to wear thin. Even if you're going back to the chaos that is your working life it'll feel good to get outta the house!

SMOOOOOCHES!
So, Doomsday was the first ep of Dr. Who I've ever seen and umm...

*cries copious amounts*

Also, the Dr. in Doomsday - is that 9 or 10?

Whoever he was, he and Rose had intense chemistry, I thought. I also saw Army of Ghosts, which broke my heart.

I needed those two eps for a ficathon fic, but *cries* So sad!
That's 10 in Doomsday. It's the finale of Series Two- therefore it must be heartwrenching and leave you with an empty space to dwell on until the next series starts.
Why do they DO that to us!?!

Doctor #9 only lasted one season. Second 'till now is 10.
I like 10. A lot. I've not seen 9 at all, but I've told tivo to tape all episodes, so... maybe I'll eventually get caught up?

That was all kinds of awesome, and I need to catch up on Dr Who. I stopped watching when CE stopped being the Doctor and now I wish I'd stuck with it.
*hands you tissues in preparation for Doomsday* Although now, I prefer how Doomsday ended to what we got in Journey's End, so.
Thanks! That was great!
