Saturday. Is it already Saturday?!
OK. It's been a WEEK! It all started with sniffles last Saturday. And I STILL have this crud hanging on. Now, I AM feeling better.
Tuesday when I went to the Dr. I felt like the cold shadow of death was actually following me around the house.
But still, congested, and head-hurty. Still haven't gone back to my contacts, either. AND, without going into TMI-land let's just say that antibiotics are not the most fun things in the world. Those of you who have had to take massive huge doses, just nod along and understand my pain.
Even though I've been off a week, my house is a slacker-disaster. So I gotta do with the cleaning sometime this weekend.
Annnnnnnd..I gotta figure out how to hook up my new digital camera to my computer. I didn't have any luck with the one that I had from work...so maybe just randomly this time will be easier.
'Tis another Kodak EasyShare. Different model, but basically the same. Got it for my upcoming vacation, cause I'm thinking that the office might miss it, if it went AWOL for a week!
***bonus with todays post:: Yesterday's Friday 5**
Smells, and memories.
1. Do you have a scent that when you smell it, brings up a memory? Do share.
I have always associated smells with memories. Lots of different things. One of my favorites is that indescribable, unmistakable scent of Fall. leaves, and dried grass and a scent of incoming rain *****I love it!
2. Songs. Is there a particular song that brings back happy memories? Song title and memory, if you care to share that much.
The "Once More With Feeling" soundtrack always makes me happy. Good times with good friends at the Sing-Along.
3. How about a song that brings up painful memories?
Song title and memory, if you care to share that much.
Randy Travis, Forever & Ever Amen. I still can't listen to it without crying. I will change the station at work, or leave the office when it comes on.
4. Food. Is there a certain food that conjures up memories?
I always think of Grandpa when we make fried apple pies. Those were his ultimate favorite. I remember him sharing them with me. :)
5. Clothing? Do you have an item of clothing or if you see a certain item, does it make you think of a time/place or person?
All my costume stuff holds memories. RenFaires, parties, DragonCon. My costumes make me happy. :)
...except for the "cursed cloak"

Feel better!
UGH. I normally have an allergy thing going all the time, but this is awful.
*Thanks*
Glad you're feeling (a little) better!
The Dead Body That Claims It Isn't: I'm getting better.
Large Man with Dead Body: No you're not, you'll be stone dead in a moment.
The Dead Collector: Well, I can't take him like that. It's against regulations.
The Dead Body That Claims It Isn't: I don't want to go on the cart.
Large Man with Dead Body: Oh, don't be such a baby.
The Dead Collector: I can't take him.
The Dead Body That Claims It Isn't: I feel fine.
Large Man with Dead Body: Oh, do me a favor.
The Dead Collector: I can't.
Large Man with Dead Body: Well, can you hang around for a couple of minutes? He won't be long.
The Dead Collector: I promised I'd be at the Robinsons'. They've lost nine today.
Large Man with Dead Body: Well, when's your next round?
The Dead Collector: Thursday.
The Dead Body That Claims It Isn't: I think I'll go for a walk.
Large Man with Dead Body: You're not fooling anyone, you know. Isn't there anything you could do?
The Dead Body That Claims It Isn't: I feel happy. I feel happy.
[the Dead Collector glances up and down the street furtively, then silences the Body with a whack of his club]
Large Man with Dead Body: Ah, thank you very much.
The Dead Collector: Not at all. See you on Thursday.
Large Man with Dead Body: Right.
You have a cursed cloak?
