peace, love and penguins

oh, Jayne.

My little kitty is such a goofball. I've been trying to copy recipes from whatever scraps of paper that Gramma has jotted them down on- to recipe cards.
I don't know if Jayne just is firmly against me doing this, or if he just wants a cuddle.
He would sit down on whatever I was reading. I would move it. He would lay across my notecards. I would move him. He would stretch back across the old recipes. I actually moved my paperwork around him and was leaning over the cat to write in the middle of the table. Nothing doing. He wanted to be ON the paper. LOL! Such a silly kitty.

I did come across one of my *favorite* desserts. Four layer delight. YUM! Which I will be making a trip to the Piggly Wiggly here in just a few minutes to get the ingrediants so I can make it tonight.

**snifffffugh* Fighting through what is either an ATTACK of sinuses, or maybe a summer cold. I feel thoroughly yucky. ((but so bad as to pass up chocolatey, cream cheesey goodness!))

And later tonight, if I'm not taken completely out by my sniffling, sneezing and runny-nose- I plan to clean out my closet. I've been shoving stuff in there since I moved in here. Mostly to get it out of the way. Time to go through it.

Exciting weekend, huh?! :)

OOOH I want a piece! Sounds Yumdillyishus! (Yes I just made that word up and it shall forever be mine by right of law)
I know that dessert, we call it 'Sex in a pan'. YUM. Haven't had it in years. We used to have a Piggly Wiggly when I was a kid, I love that store. I also used to roast marshmallows in the house, lol. but we had a gas stove, I never tried it on an electric one! Your Gran is funny. Hi to Jayne from Pumpa & Bella. we just got back from Mikey's house & their cat Shadow was all over me, now Pumpkin's like WTF. Funny babies.
Oooh! I like the name "Sex in a pan" LOL!

Yeah, we usta roast marshmallows over the burners of the gas stove all the time. This was a little different! :P

I love the fact that we have a Piggly Wiggly now. It makes me feel so....Southern.
It's a cat thing. If there's attention to be had, they want it. If you're paying attention to anything else, it just isn't happening.

I'll have my beading supplies out, lose seed beads everywhere, and suddenly Willow (who hasn't said hi all day) HAS to be on my lap, sending beads and wires and what all into the depths of the carpet... never to be seen again. this has happened EVERY time I get out that damn box. He is, however, aftaid of the X-acto knife, so I can cut out stencils with out too much trouble
I can imagine that beads would be lost forever in your carpet. I'm surprises that the cats haven't been lost in your carpet. I love your carpet.

Jayne has to be in the middle of everything. About the only thing that I've found that he's afraid of is the evil vaccume cleaner!
And that's pretty funny. Because he'll stalk it....from WAY on the other side of the room. :)
My cats won't even come near the vacuum when it's off and covered...

I love my carpet, til I drop something.. There's a pharmacy down there, I drop a pill, it's gone. I drop anything and it's gone! Even the vacuum won't pull stuff up--I'll drop someting, go to look for it, and find 11 things that were never ours; so far, plastic beads, hair ties, a chainmail link, a giant rhinestone...
and this is after a YEAR!
*shudder* what else is living there?
